First Day of School

Dear Families,

We have finished our first day of fourth grade! It was a fantastic day. We spent the day preparing for this next year. We organized all of our journals for each subject.

In math, we read, wrote, and expanded numbers up to 999,999. Your student has a family note (yellow paper) that discusses the key concepts of this unit in math. We encourage you to work on the questions together as a family. Your student will also take a math test on Friday over their X1 and X0 facts up to 12. The test will be 20 questions which needs to be completed in 2 minutes.

Each student has an agenda. In the agenda the students will write down their homework and any tests they may have that week. Miss Parker will initial to ensure the correct information is written down. You can see the a copy of those pages linked below. Their conduct paper is the calendar page for August. Click here to view sample pages. You may want to sign up for a scribd.com account. It is free and the location where we upload all of our pages we will link to this blog.

Best Wishes,

Mr. Guzman and Miss Parker
